“I didn’t know what to do…”
When I got pregnant all I could think was that the timing wasn’t right. I was in denial. I didn’t know what to do and I desperately needed to talk to someone. When I found Caris, I was nervous but I felt safe there. It was so nice and peaceful. I started to talk to my counselor, and I broke down and started crying. She told me about the Connection Group and I joined right away. I don’t know where I would be without the support I received at Caris.

“I had never felt so alone…”
When I found out I was pregnant, my boyfriend left me. I had no one to turn to. I had never felt so alone. Then I found Caris. They supported me completely and helped me with everything I needed. I felt like my dreams were ruined, but through counseling at Caris I realized that they weren’t ruined, the timing was just different. That was four years ago, and now looking back I think, “I did it!” I’m a better person because of everything I’ve gone through and I’ve accomplished so much more than I ever thought I could!
